Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
I really love the last clause of this scripture verse. It
says God will hear me. We have an audience with God. He is the God who created
all things, who can create a new story from an old situation or circumstance.
He is a God that can create in me a clean heart and renew the spirit within me.
Therefore I will look unto the Lord because I know better things are ahead. I
know that he will be my hero and save the day.
It does not say just hears us. It suggests that God takes an active part in listening to our plea. He will weigh in on our request. He will weigh our judgment with goodness mercy and grace. I will anticipate his answer. It is better to look to God rather that look and consult with your problems. Problems can only give your more problems and not solutions. Waiting is a problem for many, but for this writer it is the anticipation of the answer.
